This enclosure provides a super fast USB 3.0 connection (backwards compatible with USB 2.0) from your computer to ANY 3.5-inch SATA Hard Drive, 2.5-inch SATA Hard Drive, or 2.5-inch SATA SSD and requires no tools to install the drive quickly and easily.
Note, the first connector on the cable that comes with this enclosure is USB Type-A. If your system only has the much newer style USB Type-C ports, then you can still use this cable by combining it with a USB Type-A to Type-C converter.
